摘要
介绍认知隐喻理论的主要观点,通过对一首诗的隐喻分析,试图阐释语篇如何体现隐喻,语篇又如何以隐喻构成。同时探讨概念隐喻对语言教学的启示。
This paper first gives a brief introduction of cognitive metaphor theory, and then distinguishes some terms related to conceptual metaphor. Based on the metaphor analysis of a poem written by Emily Dickinson, the author tries to explore the way conceptual metaphor is realized in discourse and the way discourse is structured in terms of conceptual metaphor. Finally the paper points out implications of conceptual metaphor for language teaching.
