科学发展的历史,不仅是推动社会发展和时代进步的历史,也是科学精神逐步形成、不断发展和取得成功的历史,三者是融合发展、共同前进的。因而,科学精神也从最初只注重在认识上探索和追求真理的"求真"精神扩展到关注价值层面上科学应用和服务于人类的"臻善"精神,实现"求真"和"臻善"的统一。

The history of scientific development witnesses not only the progress of society and era but also the emergence, growth and completion of scientific spirit. In this way, scientific spirit develops from the vail of pursuing the realm of truth in the beginning to the practice of reaching the perfection in application and service for the unity of truth and perfection.
