On Intensifying the Training of Nursing Talents and Improving Home-based Care for the Aged

随着宁波市人口老龄化趋势的发展,老年人的社会保障给政府决策提出了新的要求。对此,社会各部门应该以新的认识,提出新的思路。宁波市社区新型居家养老中心的建设,即是在这种新的养老形势下应运而生的。其要求着眼我市养老现状,通过横向对比东西方养老实践中的差异,纵向剖析新型的"居家养老"模式相对于传统的"家庭养老"的变革,引入适应新型居家养老模式的专门护理人才,探讨其在新形势下的积极作用与培养模式,从而化解传统养老工作存在的问题与矛盾。

With the fast growing of the aged population in Ningbo City, new issues relevant to the social security of old people are emerging to challenge the policy makers in the local government, which calls for updated understanding and fresh thoughts in various social sectors. The Home-based Care Centres for the Aged in the local communities are established within this trend mentioned above. Based upon the status quo of the aged society of Ningbo City, this thesis is therefore to discuss the pros and cons of the innovated mode of the conventional home-based care for the aged in comparison with its western counterparts. Nursing talents are introduced to cater for the requirements of such innovated mode of home-based care for the aged, and its effective role and means of training are investigated, so as to provide tentative solutions to the problems existing traditionally in the care for the aged in local society.
