In the process of advanc-ing economic and social development, the Provincial Party Committee and Government of Shandong Province put highly emphasis on nurturing and developing modem logistics industry. Specially in recent years, we have firmly executed the Party Central Committee's development requirements on taking road to new industrialization and developing modem logistics industry system, listed modem logistics into one of the six highlights in prospering and developing service industries, developed and implemented supportive policies, strengthened logistics basic infrastructure construction, integrated all the logistics resources among government, enterprises and the society, aggressively helped to transit traditional transportation enterprises to modern logistics ones, promoted manufacturing enterprises in optimizing logistics management, out-sourced logistics business and third party logistics with other businesses. All of the above have gained fruitful achievements.
