摘要
目的:观察玉竹提取物对D-半乳糖(D-gal)衰老模型小鼠学习记忆能力及抗氧化能力的影响;方法:5%D-gal皮下注射建立衰老小鼠模型,同时灌胃给予玉竹提取物(extract of Polygonatum odoratum,E-PAOA),正常对照组和模型组给予等体积生理盐水。用Morris水迷宫实验检测小鼠的学习记忆能力,生化法检测小鼠脑组织超氧化物歧化酶SOD活力及丙二醛MDA含量;结果:与正常对照组相比,模型组小鼠学习记忆能力降低,脑组织SOD活力下降,MDA含量增加。灌胃给予E-PAOA后,小鼠上述变化明显改善;结论:E-PAOA可改善D-gal衰老模型小鼠的学习记忆能力,具有促进智力和延缓衰老的作用,其机制可能E-PAOA与具有抗氧化能力有关。
Objective: To observe effects of the extract of Polygonatum odoratum (E-PAOA) on learning and memory function and anti-oxidative ability of aging model mice induced by D-galactose. Methods: Senile model mice were established by D-galactose hypodermic injection for 8 weeks. E-PAOA had been administered to three therapy groups. All the mice of different groups were tested with Morris water maze. Then the mice were killed and biocbemically assayed of superoxide dismutase SOD and malondialdehyde MDA in the brain. Results: The model mice showed worse ability in learning and memory in comparison with control mice. The SOD activity in the brain decreased and the MDA content increased in model rats in comparison with control. E-PAOA significantly improved the changesmentioned above. Conclusion E-PAOA improved the learning and memory dys-function in aging model mice by modulation of the anti-oxidative ability.
