摘要
为了解决无线网络下TCP性能下降的问题,提出了一个改进的TCP协议:TCP-AP(Transport Control Protocol with AP)。此协议通过层与层之间的通信,使TCP发送方能够正确区分出是无线链路比特错误造成的丢包,还是有线链路拥塞造成的丢包,从而采取相应的办法,提高了无线网络中的TCP性能。文中使用了仿真工具Network Simulator对各种场景进行了仿真实验,验证了TCP-AP协议的性能。
In order to improve TCP performance in wireless networks, in this paper, an effective protocol: TCP-AP (Transport Control Protocol with AP) protocol was designed. In TCP-AP protocol, by communicating between different layers, the sender can differentiate whether congestion causes packet losses, or wireless transmission error causes packet losses. And then, the sender can select suitable means to reduce packet losses. TCP performance is improved greatly. Finally, TCP-AP protocol performance is checked, using network simulator.
