Daniel Bell,a contemporary distinguished scholar and thinker, developed a school of his own by virtue of his unique thinking style and specific visual angle. He probed into the social crisis of capitalism via culture - analysis and elevated culture to a high degree of something related to human＇ s living and belief. He thought culture could restrain one＇ s desire and converge strength of all society. This had a profound meaning in analysis and resolving of social issues. Nevertheless, it＇ s still to be discussed on his methodology of rupture and view of cultural authority in his thought.
