The financial crisis has exerted a strong impact on higher education in the U.S.. It makes the input on higher education deflated and tuition jumped, and low-income families feel more pressure. Meantime, it pushes universities to, take an eye on the risk and improve the efficiency of management. Based on the enrollment of universities and colleges, we should say that it is not a very serious problem to the main body of American higher education. Nonetheless, the crisis still brings many lessons to universities and colleges on how to deal with the market and enhance the efficiency in the way of equity.
