高校公共机房在计算机本地网络中经常需要对多台计算机传送相同的大量数据。在支持IP多播的网络硬件环境中,研究IP多播原理与技术,开发并实现了一套基于网络多播的数据分发应用系统,从而有效地利用多播技术提高了网络传送效率,提高在计算机本地网络中的实验室应用维护工作效率。

Public computer labs often need to transfer a great deal of the same data to many computers in local networks within a uni- versity. In this paper, the items researched consist of multi-cast theories and technologies, development and implementation of an appli- cation system based on multi-cast in the hardware environments of local networks, which support multi-cast. The result indicates that the system improves the network transferring efficiency and increases the application-maintaining efficiency of labs within local networks.
