Implementation and Beam-forming Algorithm of Smart Antenna

摘要 提出了一种基于遗传算法的波束形成方法。该方法具有很好的收敛性,与传统的LMS算法相比,遗传算法具有良好的全局搜索能力,对于复杂的搜索空间,能快速地找到最优解。利用FPGA进行空域滤波,通过DSP浮点运算,高效地实现权值估计,避免高位加法进位影响权值速度,使得智能天线波束形成算法的实现简便易行。 A method for beam formation of smart antenna based on genetic algorithm is described, which has a good convergence. As compared to the traditional LMS algorithm, the genetic algorithm has a better overall search capability, and for the complicated search space, can quickly find the optimal solution. FPGA is utilized for conducting the spatial filter, realizing weight estimation through the float-point calculation of DSP, thus preventing high-order addition carry from lowering the calculation speed and making easy implementation of smart antenna beam forming algorithms.
