This article summaries the purpose, research and application of grafting technology in watermelon and melon production. This paper reviews the physiology and mechanism of grafting affinity,resistance to disease and tolerance to stress,and yield and quality of grafted watermelon and melon. The article also discusses the application of grafting and problems of watermelon and melon production using grafting.
