摘要
从曲面细分的发展过程出发,对曲面细分模式进行了分类研究.按照初始网格单元的类型分别对三角形网格细分和四边形网格细分中几种典型的细分模式,如Catmull-Clark细分、Loop细分、Doo-Sabin细分、蝶形细分、2细分、3细分进行了描述,重点对细分曲面的连续性、细分的规则进行研究并对曲面细分技术未来发展进行了展望.
Beginning with the development of surface subdivision, research on its classification is given. Modes of triangles and quadrilateral meshes subdivision are described in detail according to the different types of the initial mesh unit, such as Catmull-Clark subdivision, Loop subdivision, Doo-Sabin subdivision, butterfly subdivision, √2 subdivision, √3 subdivision, etc. The continuity of the subdivision surface, and the rules of subdivision are expounded, a prospect of the development of surface subdivision is given as well.
