The paper briefly introduces the concept, content and design principles of the BRT network, analyzes the influencing factors of the structure and scale, proposes the principle of systems engineering, in which the qualitative and quantitative methods are combined to plan the urban BRT network and explains the procedures and things needing attention in the design.
