Rhetoricization:A Theoretic Topic in the Studies of the History of Chinese Rhetoric

修辞化指汉语修辞形成和发展的规律的反映。这是汉语修辞史研究面临的一个理论探索话题。在汉语修辞史研究中,我们不仅要对汉语修辞的历史发展作出事实的描写,而且要对汉语修辞的历史发展作出理论的解释,探索汉语修辞形成和发展的规律,探求汉语修辞发展的动因和机制。人们在修辞化的动因和机制方面已经作了一些探索,获得了一些成果,但是,还面临着许多问题,需要进一步加以探索。

Rhetoricization, which is a theoretic topic in the studies of the history of Chinese Rhetoric, refers to the presentation of the law of the formation and development of Chinese Rhetoric. In the studies of Chinese Rhetoric history, we have to make objective description as well as theoretic explanation on the historical development of Chinese Rhetoric, try to make clear the law of its formation and development and probe into the motive and mechanism of its development. People have made some explorations on the motive and mechanism of rhetoricization, and they have achieved some progress. However, there are still a lot of problems in point in need of further exploration.
