An Ability-Course Relational Model and Its Application in Undergraduate Engineering Programs

摘要 本文将工程师的能力归纳为工程分析能力、资源集成能力和社会责任能力三大类,并在此基础上建立了本科工程教育的能力与课程关系模型来表达各类课程与各类能力培养的相互关系。根据这个模型,围绕工程师能力培养,重构了由专业课程、综合课程和工程通识课程组成的课程体系,采用中外对比的方法提出了本科工程教育课程体系改革的方向和重点。 In this paper, the abilities for engineers are allocated into three catalogues which are the ability of engineering analysis, the ability of resource integration and the ability of social responsibility. A relational model between abilities and courses is developed based on the ability allocation in order to indicate the relationship between the abilities needed by engineers and the courses delivered in programs. According to this model, a new framework of curriculum, focusing on student ability building, is developed in three groups of courses that are specialized courses, comprehensive courses and common courses for engineers. The directions and main points of curriculum reform for undergraduate engineering programs are proposed by means of eontrastive studies on the curricula at home and abroad.
