Discussion on the Relationship between Individual Service and Cyber-information Resource

网络信息资源可以增加图书馆馆藏。但网络信息资源具有无序性、动态性、多样性、容量大等特性,较传统的文献信息资源更难以把握。只有对网络信息资源进行积极有效的整合,才能实现信息资源效用的最大化。整合网络信息资源的途径之一是将网络信息资源编辑成专题性文献信息,形成专题性文献信息库。专题文献信息库的建设必须考虑个性化服务问题,必须以服务对象为中心,研究服务对象的需求,为服务对象搜索、组织、选择、推荐更具针对性的文献信息。

As a way to enrich the library collection, the cyber-information with the characters of variety and huge capacity, has difficult being controlled comparing with the traditional information resources. Only the integration can help to make the maximum use of the resource. And one of the ways to integrate is to edit the cyber-information into documents with a special topic and further to create the documentary information bank. The individual service must be considered when constructing the bank by centering the user, studying the user＇s needs and seeking, organizing, choosing, recommending the aiming information for different users.
