翻译乃翻“异”——论异质因素的重构

On the Reconstruction of Foreign Elements in Translation

后殖民翻译理论已成为译界的热门话题。从后殖民主义批评理论的视角出发,对翻译中的异质因素进行了审视。翻译是异质因素的重构,只有在翻译中有效地保留异质因素,才能给译语的语言文化注入新鲜血液,并促使文化间的公平交流。认识到这一点我们就会重新考虑翻译体的积极意义,并努力在汉译英实践中注重异质因素的传递。

The postcolonial translation studies has been hot in the field of translation studies. This paper examines the concept of foreign elements from this perspective. Translation is the process of reconstructing the foreign elements which exist in the original. Only by retaining those foreign elements can the translators infuse fresh blood into the target language as well as culture, thus promoting the fair cross -cultural communication. The translators should reconsider translationese in a positive way and pay attention to the transfer of foreign elements in translation.
