The current status of the study and development of isotope instruments in both developed countries and our country is described comprehensively. The categories, features and applications of isotope instruments are introduced. The model numbers, technical features and manufacturers of home made isotopic thickness gauge, level meters are presented. The developing prospects of isotope instruments are forecasted.
