A study on person Deixis in The Chinese Courtroom Interaction

法庭问答中的人称指示语形式多样。权势原则占主导地位,亲疏原则有时不能解释人称指示语的变换。语境、意图、人际功能、目的原则及其它的社会因素都影响到法庭问答人称指示语的选择。

Based on the transcription of the most typical criminal case in the Chinese courtroom, this paper is devoted to the study of person deixis in courtroom questioning and answering. The traditional principal of power takes the leading role in the multiplicity of the courtroom person deixis, but the traditional principal of solidarity cannot explain its alternative all the time. Some factors, such as, context, intentionality, interpersonal function, principal of goal and some social factors, are analyzed and thought to influence its alternatives.
