摘要
AMSS顺利发展航空移动卫星通信业务(AMSS)由国际移动卫星组织(INMARS-AT)从海事移动卫星通信业务(MMSS)扩展而来,始用于1990年.首先提供航空旅客通信(APC)用的空中电话(一种数字卫星电话),后来扩展到传真,直至数据链应用,从向航空公司提供航务通信(AOC)。
Aero satellite communication between air and ground was established more than 7 years ago. At the beginning it provided the voice link-skyphone, followed by skyfax and data link. The Applications of AMSS are expanded from APC to AOC、 AAC and then ATS. INMARSAT has led a flourishing business to provide Aero-H first, then Aero-L and Aero-I. The AES terminals have reached more than 2100 installations on commercial aircraft. Satcom data-links are available since the introduction of interium data-1, data-2 and data-3. The data-3 has been fullfilled the requirement of ICAO SARPs and will be compatible with ATN.
