Citizen Participation in Non-Governmental Organization

随着全球化时代的到来,当代西方公民参与面临着民主参与精神和公共领域衰落、公民身份和权利流失、公民共和主义和公民自由主义内在张力等困境,并通过非政府组织平台,实现了进入"生活政治"和"公民治理"的转向。近年来我国非政府组织获得了蓬勃发展,其中的公民参与具有特殊的"中国"意义和取向,因此,积极促进非政府组织中的公民参与,推进"公民治理",就成为中国民主法治进程中重要而持续的社会动力。

With the advent of global era, there is a transformation of citizen participation from the declination of democratic spirit of participation and public sphere, loss of citizen identity and right, tension between citizen republicanism and citizen liberalism to the participation into non-governmental organization in order to realize ＂life politics＂ and ＂citizen governance＂. Recently, non-governmental organizations develop rapidly in China and the citizen participation embodies special ＂Chinese＂ significance and orientation. Therefore, it becomes an important and sustainable social impetus to propel citizen participation in non- governmental organization and ＂citizen governance＂ in the process of democracy and rule-by-law.
