Study of the Principle and Method of Constructing Harmonious Community

创建和谐社区是构建和谐社会的基础,我们所要创建的和谐社区应该是社区公共服务完善、社会风尚文明、人际关系亲密、群众安居乐业、治安秩序良好和生态环境优美的新型社区。创建和谐社区必须遵循以人为本、公平正义、社区居民自治的原则,加强政府的主导作用,不断完善社区志愿者服务组织队伍建设,实行社区建设和管理的自治化运作和坚持社区公共服务的社会化方向。

Constructing harmonious community is the foundation of constructing harmonious society. Our aimed harmonious community should be a new type community which has perfect public service, nice civilization, fine relationship, good public security and delicate environment. To construct harmonious community, we must follow the prineiple of ＂human center＂, ＂equity and justice＂, and ＂community resident autonomy＂. Government should play its leading role and community volunteer service organization should be improved. Furthermore, we should execute self-rule operation of community construction and management, and it must follow the socialization direction of community public service.
