The motivation of code - switching is comparatively complex, for the various factors affect it, this paper from the perspective of sociolinguistics mainly amplifies the choice and swithing of personal code by reviewing its concept, types as well as its previous studies; besides combines with the concrete examples appearing in people＇s life, in order to obtain the result that the choice and switching of personal code -switching is restricted by social factors and personal subjective motivation and other elements.
