The paper reported the experimental result about how to raise the benefit in farming the Macrobrachium rosenbergii in North China. The technical measures were taken such as temporary culture of the baby shrimps, keeping the pond water temperature suitable for the shrimp's growing with the plastic shed, getting the shrimp acclimatized to eat artificial feed with rich content of protein, strengthening management and protecting against diseases. In the experimental ponds with the total area of 20 mu pnduced Macrobrachium rosenbergii of 2510 kg,125. 5 kg per mu on avergae. The average size, body weight and length separately reached to 32 inds/kg, 31. 25 g/ind and 15. 3 cm/ind. The commercial rate was 98. 5 %.
