证候是中医独有的概念,证候实质的研究,就是用现代科学理论揭示中医证候理论中蕴藏的科学内涵,阐明证候及其相关疾病的微观机制。基因组学与蛋白质组学的引入有望给证候学研究带来契机。从证候实质研究现状、证候与基因组学、蛋白质组学相关研究和复杂系统研究的方法论问题等方面,探讨了从基因组学和蛋白质组学研究中医证候实质可能的思路与方法。

Syndrome is the unique concept of TCM. The essence of syndrome of TCM research is to use modern scientific theory reveals scientific connotation of TCM theory, and clarify the micromechanism of treatment of syndromes and related diseases. Genomics and proteomics seem to be a turning point in the study of the syndrome. It is discussed that thinking and method of study through situation of essence of symptome,relation of symptom and genomics,proteomics and methodology of complex system.
