网关机顶盒——下一代数字家庭网关的研究 被引量:5

摘要 提出一种用更智能化的机顶盒来实现家庭网关的方案,降低了资源消耗并提供高质量服务。基于ARM处理器加DSP的体系架构,配置嵌入式Linux和中间件消除家庭网络设备间的差异性,设计了丰富的顶层应用软件。并命名这种具有网关功能的智能性机顶盒为网关机顶盒。 In this paper, we propose a new solution which uses a more intelligent STB (set top box) to fulfill tasks of RG (Residential Gateway) , it cuts resource cost while offers high quality services. The system architecture is based on ARM processer and DSP is added on, the embedded Linux and middleware is configured to eliminate the heterogeneity of devices for home network. Then, abundant application software at the top is designed to accomplish the ultimate tasks successfully. This intelligent STB with gateway function is nominated RG-STB.
