国民外交运动的一次新探索——辽宁国民外交协会的缘起及其活动述评

辽宁国民外交协会是辽宁民众自发形成的反日爱国团体,它是在日本帝国主义对东北侵略加深、东北政权实施收回国权运动、人民反日运动高涨的背景下成立的。它成立后,协助东北政权开展外交活动,宣传国民外交常识,抵制日货,其组织迅速扩大,会员急剧增加,成为辽宁国民开展外交活动的一个新途径。它对于打击日本帝国主义的侵略势力,唤起民众的爱国主义意识,以及捍卫国家主权方面起到了不可低估的历史作用。但受历史条件的限制,辽宁国民外交协会也有一定的消极影响。

Liaoning National Diplomacy Association is a patriotic anti-Japan organization spontaneously formed by Liaoning people against the background of the deepening Japanese imperialist aggression, the Northeast authorities＇ reclaiming state-ownership as well as the fierce anti-Japanese movement. Once established, it assisted the Northeast authorities in foreign affairs, publicizing common sense of national diplomacy, resisting Japanese goods, etc. The rapid development of the organization made a great contribution to Liaoning national diplomacy and played an important role in fighting against Japanese imperialists, awakening people＇s patriotic consciousness and defending state sovereignty. However, owing to the historical limitation, it also had some negative effect.
