According to introducing the process of 300 MW CFB boiler starting but lack of bed fuel, it mainly demonstrates the problems occurred in the running process lack of bed fuel：low bed pressure causes high bed temperature in middle, upper bed layer, low temperature in lower bed layer,even protection trip, and low load running for a long time; summarizes the harm of running but lack of bed fuel：decreasling of boiler efficiency, increasing of auxiliary power, reducing of life span of boiler; and supplies the basis for judgement of coking, attains the goal of ensurling safety, steady and economical running of 300 MW CFB boiler.
