MAGNETOCRYSTALLINE ANISOTROPY OF Er 2(Fe 1-x Co x ) 15 Ga 2 COMPOUNDS

摘要 通过X射线衍射和磁性测量等手段研究了Er2(Fe1-xCox)15Ga2化合物的结构与磁性,重点讨论了它们的磁晶各向异性.实验结果表明,Er2(Fe1-xCox)15Ga2化合物均为Th2Ni17型六角结构,晶格常数a,c和单胞体积V随Co含量的增加而线性下降.随Co含量的增加,饱和磁化强度减小,而居里温度单调增高.Er2(Fe1-xCox)15Ga2化合物的磁晶各向异性强烈地依赖于Co含量的变化,室温易磁化方向随Co含量的增加由易面转变为易轴,当x<05时,样品出现自旋重取向转变,自旋重取向温度Tsr从x=0时的1278K增加到x=04时的558K. Abstract ? Structural and magnetic properties of Er 2(Fe 1-x Co x ) 15 Ga 2 compounds with x =0-1 0 were investigated by means of X ray diffraction and magnetization measurements.X ray diffraction patterns demonstrate that all samples are single phase with the hexagonal Th 2Ni 17 type structure.The lattice parameters a,c and the unit cell volumes V are found to decrease linearly with increasing Co concentration.With increasing Co content the saturation magnetization decreases while,but the Curie temperature increases monotonically.The substitution of Co for Fe has a significant effect on the magnetocrystalline anisotropy,and changes the easy magnetization direction from the basal plane to the c axis at room temperature for x lying between 0 2 and 0 4.The spin reorientation transitions are observed for x<0 5 .The spin reorientation temperature T sr increases with increasing Co concentration from 127 8K for x =0 to 558K for x =0 4. 
