摘要
甲状腺激素是一种具有多种生理功能的激素,对神经系统的发育,特别是学习记忆功能具有广泛而重要的影响。该文介绍了近年来国内外甲状腺激素缺乏对学习记忆功能影响的研究,并从基础和临床研究两个方面阐述了其影响机制。目前,学习记忆的主要机制是海马突触传递和可塑性,其中突触传递长时程增强现象是神经生理学基础。甲状腺激素缺乏对学习记忆的影响主要是基于海马和长时程增强现象的改变,其中甲状腺激素替代治疗对科研及临床均具有现实意义。
Thyroid hormones (THs)are a group hormones that exert many physiological functions and pose extensive and critical influences for development of central nervous system (CNS) especially for brain functions of learning and memory. This review introduced researches on influences of thyroid hormone deficiency on brain functions of learning and memory in recent years in domestic and abroad, and elucidated mechanisms of these influences from preclinieal and clinical researches. At present, learning and memory functions are thought to be related to hippocampal synaptie transmission and plasticity, and synaptie long-term potentiation (LTP) is the base of neurophysiology. Insufficiency in thyroid hormones impairs performance on tasks of learning and memory that rely upon the hippoeampus and LTP. THs' replacement therapy has important practical significance for study and clinic practice.
