A Perspective into the Spiritual Purpose of Philosophy through the Development of Temporal Problems

时间问题是贯穿于西方哲学史的一个基本问题,它在解决不同时期的哲学理论困境中发挥着关键作用。从古希腊时期到后现代的哲学家们对时间问题的思考方式、构建方法、解决路径虽不甚相同,却或隐或显地存在着某种逻辑关联,从而敞显出时间问题发展的内在逻辑,即时间问题逐渐由外在的自然转向人的生活。时间问题始终与哲学的命运相生相伴。哲学的精神旨归随时间问题的逻辑演进,最终由关注外在的自然、神、理性的本体论,归宿于提高人的形而上的精神品位的价值追求。

The studies of ‘time’ issues run through the whole western philosophy history,and serves as a crucial influ-ence in extricating philosophers from their theoretical predicaments. Though different philosophers from ancient Greek to Postmodernism have different thinking ways,different methods of settlement,and different solution paths for researching the time issues,their outlooks have a certain logical relation obviously or potentially. Thus,they demonstrate an inherent logic in the development of the studies of time issues,transferred from outside na-ture to human being’s life. The studies of the issue always develop with the company of the fate of philosophy. The spiritual purport of philosophy,evolving along with the studies of time issue,concerns a lot of the outside nature,the god,human’s rationality,and the inner self-cultivation learning,which at last enhances human’s pursuing the metaphysical spirit of value.
