唐代的性善说

摘要 魏晋南北朝时期,很少人倡性善学说。唐初,已有人主张性善,后来封建文人逐步认识到性善说对进行封建伦理道德教育以巩固统治的重要性,开始表彰孟子性善学说,唐代国家科举考试也反映了此点。在广大群众纷纷要求平等平均的时候,封建统治者特别重视貌似"人性平等"的孟子学说,看来是有针对性的。在当时佛性论刺激下,许多学者在融合孟、佛心性学说上进行探索,但众说纷纭,缺乏内在联系,还没有形成新的完整的理论体系。 Weijin- Nanbei Dynasties period, very few people advocated Mencins' idea of goodness of human nature, while in the early Tang Dynasty it had been advocated and later even been commended when feudal scholars came to realize that the idea of goodness of human nature had importance on the feudal ethics education in order to consolidate the rule, it also had been promoted in the imperial examination in Tang Dynasty. When the masses put forward the equality and the average, feudal rulers paid special attention to Mencius' human equality doctrine. Meanwhile under the stimulation of Buddhism, many scholars tried to integrate the Meneius and Buddhism to create new doctrines, but their views lacked internal relations and did not form a new complete theoretical system.
