On Deng Xiaoping's Innovation and Development of the Military Direction Theory of the Party

十一届三中全会以来,邓小平对党的军事指导理论的创新和发展,从军事领域推动了马克思主义军事理论中国化的历史进程。其内容主要包括:科学把握时代脉搏,提出了"和平与发展"是时代主题的判断,实现党的军事指导思想的战略性转变;坚持以国家利益为最高准则,赋予积极防御军事战略方针以新的内涵;抓住军队建设的薄弱环节,统筹以现代化为中心,推进现代化、正规化革命军队的整体发展;辩证审视国防建设,规划国防建设健康发展的新思路。

Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the CPC, Deng Xiaoping innovated and developed the military direction theory of the Party, having promoted the historical process of the sinifieation of Marxism military theory. The main contents include ： based on the scientific understanding of the age, raising the judgment that ＂peace and development＂ is the theme of the age, realizing the strategic transformation of the Party＇ s military direction thought; persisting in treating the benefits of the country as the highest rule, and endowing the military strategic guideline of active defense with new connotation ; grasping the weak points in the construction of the army, insisting on the core policy of modernization, and pushing the overall development of modernized, normalized revolutionary army; looking into the construction of national defense with a dialectic view, and planning a new approach to the healthy development of national defense construction.
