By analyzing both the present condition of our competitive sports and the running patterns of foreign competitive sports, this article concludes that it is necessary for us to follow the pattern of combining governmental ftmction and marketing system; item management should be self- supporting; the principle of equal opportunity should be applied and scientific research should be strengthened.
