Causes and Solutions for Ecological Crisis:The CPUSA's Ecological Critique and Struggle

在当前的生态危机面前,美共通过深入挖掘生态危机的根源、提供消解生态危机的路径来积极开展生态批判和斗争。美共认为资本主义的趋利体制、资本对环保战略的侵蚀、美国模式的生产方式和生活方式、公司帝国主义等是当代生态危机的根源。在此基础上,美共提出了许多消解环境危机的具体对策,号召人们积极从事生态斗争,并最终推翻资本主义。美共的生态批判与斗争既与当代方兴未艾的生态理论具有相当的一致性,又表现出马克思主义政党的实践性和革命性的鲜明特色。

Before the present ecological crisis, CPUSA starts actively an ecological critique and struggle by exploring the causes and solutions for it. CPUSA believes that the root of the modern ecological crisis lies in the capitalism＇ s inherent nature of pursuing profits, the erosion effect caused by capital to environmental protection strategy, American way of production and life as well as corporation＇ s imperialism. Based on that analysis, CPUSA proposes its prescription for re- lieving the environmental crisis, and calls on the people to take up the ecological struggle actively to overthrow capitalism eventually. Its ecological critique and prescription has a close relation with the ascendant ecological theory and also embedded with a strong character of practicality and revolutionary of a Marxism party.
