摘要
英语广告既有英语语言的共性,但更重要的是因其功能目的决定的独特之处。本文从句法修辞角度探讨了广告英语的特点,以提高读者解读和欣赏英语广告的能力,提出了汉语广告英译的一条有效途径。
An advertisement in English bears the commonness of English; what's more, it has its own characteristics due to its unique functions and aims. With the view of syntax and rhetoric, this paper not only discusses the features of English Advertisements to understand and enjoy the English Advertisements but introduces an effective approach to translating the Chinese advertisements into English.
