通过对中美高校竞技体育人才培养模式的比较研究,分析两者的管理机构、运行模式及其效益,并结合我国高校竞技体育人才培养模式存在的问题,借助于美国NCAA的成功经验和系统科学的管理办法,探索适合我国高校竞技体育发展的合理模式,为我国在市场经济体制下办好高校竞技体育人才培养,为我国高校竞技体育改革与发展,为建立有中国特色的社会主义竞技体育人才培养体系提供理论依据。
