摘要
说告别中医者,夸大了科学的实用成效,忽略了中医药的精神所在,更不明白中医药的深厚道德部分,中医是智慧之学,医者意也,其思维过程产生的威力,不限于科学,亦能推动科学。
Traditional Chinese Medicine possesses rich traditional cultural elements and is heavily indoctrinated with general ethics. It advocates for individualized treatment for different patients and adopts a multiple targets approach. Although scienti/ic medicine in the modern age has offered a lot to human health, its deductive approach has appeared deficient in too many areas like degenerative, immunological disturbances and cancer. As the mystery of genomic studies is gradually unveiled, individualized treatment is expected to materialize while the complicated interactions within the human body, outside and inside the cells, between the proteins and the influences of the external environments await future answers. It is therefore obvious that Chinese medicine could be used as a specialty which helps to keep a balance between the interacting forces, while methodology of modern science could be utilized to supply reasonable explanations in the long run.
