多义形容词的属性界定与话语功能

Attribute Definition and Discourse Function of Polysemous Adjectives

日语中的"いい"不是有具体属性的形容词,而是一个介于属性形容词和感觉形容词之间,界限不明的多义形容词。由属性形容词和感觉形容词溶合而成的"いい"大致等于两种词性特性的总和。在词义派生方面,"いい"具有功能词所具有的某种特殊的语用功能。因此,应该把"いい"的复杂性质归结于该词内在的特性,而常见的基于参数化或逻辑式移位的分析难以解释这一语言现象。

This paper attempts to prove that the Japanese adjective ＂いい＂ is not an adjective with attributes,but a polysemous adjective between attribute adjectives and sensorial adjectives,which is hard to give a clear demarcation,.＂いい＂is equivalent to the sum of attribute adjectives and sensorial adjectives,for it is composed both by these two kinds of adjectives;and it is of some particular pragmatic functions of a functional word.Therefore,the complexity of ＂いい＂ is attributed to its inner quality.The analyses based on parameterization and logic shifts are not sufficient to explain the linguistic phenomenon manifested by ＂いい＂.
