委内瑞拉总统查韦斯在执政期间,进行了一系列社会改革,调整了一系列内外政策,倡导在委内瑞拉建设21世纪社会主义。查韦斯用"21世纪社会主义"代替新自由主义,旨在把玻利瓦尔革命转变为一场社会主义性质的革命,以真正实现社会的公正、自由、平等和互助。本文从查韦斯"21世纪社会主义"思想的缘起、内容、性质、前景四个方面进行了分析和探讨,以此来更客观、更准确地认识和把握查韦斯的"21世纪社会主义"思想。

When Venezuelan President Chavez in power, he conducted a series of social reforms, adjusted a series of internal and external policies, and initiated the building of the 21st century socialism. Chavez replaced neo- liberalism with ＂21st century socialism＂, in order to change the Bolivarian revolution into a socialist revolution, truly bring about social justice, freedom, equality and mutual aid. This article analysis the origin, content, nature and the prospects of Chavez ＂21st century socialism ＂ideology, in order to understand and grasp Chavez＇ s ＂21st century socialism ＂ideology more objectively and accurately.
