On Training English Majors in Autonomous Learning Strategies in Colleges and Universities

在外语学习中,发展外语语言能力的一个重要的途径就是通过自主性学习。而自主性学习的能力的培养需要师生双方的努力。关于自主性学习的重要性,师生双方早已达成共识,然而实行起来还面临许多挑战。文章主要探讨了在中国文化传统的背景下英语专业学生发展自主性学习的可行性、所面临的主要问题以及解决这些问题的对策。文章最后指出,只有师生双方改变教学理念,才能真正达到从"学会"到"会学"的最终目标。

Students＇ autonomous learning is very important in developing their language learning ability, the training of which needs efforts both from teachers and students. This paper explores the feasibility of training students＇ autonomous learning ability in the traditional and cultural Chinese context as well as potential problems and measures to tackle these problems.
