多媒体网络环境下大学英语个性化教学新模式探究

A Study of a New Language Teaching Methodology Based on Multimedia Assistance

新一轮大学英语教学改革重点提出了大学英语课程设计应当充分考虑到听说能力的培养,应大量使用计算机信息技术,推进基于计算机和网络的英语软件教学,即听说课程应当主要基于计算机辅助。这一新的教改模式为大学英语的教学特别是视听说课的教学设置了一个崭新的教学环境,对于教师提出了新的挑战。本文将针对实际教学中出现的问题,重点研究视听说课上如何合理充分通过多媒体网络辅助完成符合教改要求的个性化教学。另外,对于使用多媒体教学后如何正确调整教师与学生的角色变化以及网络教学对教师自身的要求这两方面做出阐述。

The requirements of the reform in College English teaching highlight the importance of using computer and multimedia in audio-visual teaching. This provides a new teaching environment as well as a big challenge to language teachers both in their teaching preparation and their performance in class. This paper pays much attention to the problems faced by teachers in class and makes some suggestions for proper employment of multimedia and internet resources. Besides, it describes the necessary change of teachers＇ and students＇ roles in class respectively and also raises some extra requirements for teachers.
