Teaching Methods of Foreign Literature in Chinese Specialty

Foreign literature is a basic course offered for undergraduates majoring in Chinese Language and Literature in colleges and universities, whose teaching tasks and goals determine teaching methods for teachers. My teaching experience accumulated over years has shown that such teaching methods as guided reading, raising problems, training writing and appreciating art, are most popular among students. With the teacher playing the leading role and taking students as the principal part of learning, the above mentioned teaching methods can kindle students＇ enthusiasm and promote their involvement, resulting in improving students＇ comprehensive abilities as well as disseminating the related knowledge.
