Geographical Civilization and Identity of East Asian Literary Theory

作为东亚文论的重要组成部分,中国文论长期处于世界边缘的地位,在被世界化的过程中丧失了应有的身份性。20世纪此起彼伏发展的西方文论其优势之一就是地缘性。因此,地缘文明是审视东亚文论的一个有益视角。在历史上,东亚地缘文明水乳交融,但当代东亚地缘文明并没有发生更为有效的互动,特别是在文论方面。在东西方文论互动的过程中,不断完善地缘文论,将进一步促进东方文论的自身建设、东西方文论的平等对话与整个世界文论的发展。

Chinese literary theory has long been placed in a marginal position in the world and has lost its deserved identity in the process of internationalization. One of the advantages of Western literary theory is its geographical nature. Therefore, geograph- ical civilization can be taken as a proper perspective to look at East Asian literary theory. Historically, the geographical civilization in East Asia was in complete harmony. But, contemporary East Asian geographical civilization has no effective interaction, especially in terms of literary theory. In the interactive process of Eastern and Western literary theories, the continuous improvement of geographical literary theory will further promote the construction of Eastern literary theory, the equal dialogue between Eastern and Western literary theories, and the development of the world literary theory.
