Death has always been the favorite theme for various authors,and Eudora Welty is no exception. She endeavors to evoke people＇s reflection on life through descriptions of all kinds of death. From the perspective of Freud＇s psycho-analysis, this paper,with her Death of a Traveling Salesman and A Curtain of Green as examples,analyzes the causes for the death of the characters in Welty＇s novels, the influence death has brought to people and the deep meaning behind it.
