摘要
尤金.奥尼尔依照希腊悲剧《俄瑞斯忒亚》的模式创作了戏剧《悲悼》,两者在情节、冲突以及某些技巧上都有近似之处,但两部戏剧的审美效果却大相径庭。文中着重从社会学、心理学和戏剧理论等视角研究分析造成这种差异的原因。
Eugene O'Neill produced his trilogy Mourning Becomes Electra by following the pattern of the Greek tragedy Oresteia. The two plays have striking similarity in plot, conflict and some other artistic techniques. Nevertheless, great differences in their aesthetic effect can be easily noticed. This article is attempted to analyze the reasons for these differences from the perspectives of sociology, ethics and drama theories.
