Pakistan-America relationship has always been closely linked to'war on terror'since the 9/11 attacks. The United States has designated Pakistan as a'Major Non-NATO Ally'and offered great assistance to Pakistan from the necessity of war on terror.Bilateral relations become closer than in the early years of the Post-Cold War.However, the gradual deepening of differences in the war on terror has made bilateral relations in difficulty in recent years.Under the new President Obama and President Zardari administrations, the prospect for Pakistan-America relations will be worthy of attention.
