野木瓜是我国特有的野生果品之一,其用途广泛,既可以用来观赏,也可以用来加工成各种可口和营养的食品,并且其药用价值已有三千多年的应用历史。介绍了野木瓜的主要生理活性成分及其在食品中的应用前景,为野木瓜的进一步开发和利用提供科学依据。
As one of the specific wild fruit in China, wild papaya （Stauntonia chinensis DC） is widely used e.g. for ornament, or use in making a variety of delicious and nutritive foodstuffs. And its medicinal value has been utilized for over 3000 years. The major physiologically-active ingredients in wild papaya are mainly introduced, and their use in food is forecasted to provide scientific references for further development and utilization.
