摘要
形变区域的实时建模与绘制是动态地形应用中的关键技术。论文基于小波变换的静态地形实时绘制的方法,提出了基于B样条小波的动态地形实时绘制方法。在预处理阶段采用基于视点和顶点剔除准则构造多分辨率模型;当发生形变时,提出了插入准则和基于活跃区域单元格的方法对形变区域进行采样精度的动态扩展,同时较好地确保了帧间连贯性。实验表明,该方法不仅能够减少所需绘制的三角形个数,而且提高了地形绘制的效率。
Real-time modeling and rendering of the deformed region are the key techniques of dynamic terrain application. According to the methods of static terrain rendering in real time based on the wavelet theory, an algorithm is proposed to render dynamic terrain. In pretreatment phases, depending on the viewpoint and vertex deleting rules the multi-resolution model is constructed. Inserting rules and active cell set methods are put forward to extend sampling precision of the deformed region when deformation happens to ensure frame-to-frame coherence much better when the viewpoint moves. The results of experiments show that this algorithm can not only reduce the number of triangulations, but also improve the efficiency of terrain rendering.
