Wang Junjin,chairman of the board of Okay Airways Com- pany Limited (OKAir) has handed over application for suspending OKAir services and has got ap- proval from North China CivilAvia- tion Authority. This case has triggered heated discussions,the popular voice among which targeted at the shareholder disputes in shared assets between Junyao Corporation and OKAir,and dif- ferences in their strategies,both of which have led the failure of this private-owned airline which once held high banner of aidine market orientation. The conflicts between Wang Junjin and former share- holders of OKAir are known to all parties concerned.One rea- son is that Junyao Corporation, held by Wang Junjin,hasn't allo- cated 97.32 million yuan into OKAir's account as signed.The pdvate placement of Junyao Air- lines also has pressed OKAir's nerves.Junyao Corporation pre- ferred and planned to package Junyao Aidine,OKAir and UEAir to go public trade and has coor- dinated with consulting firms with the plan.However,OKAir wasn't willing to see the private place- ment and especially the pack- aged public trade with other airlines.
